2Co 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
1Pe 2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
Isa 53:4,5 Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. 5But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.
Scripture clearly teaches that Jesus truly did bear the sins of the whole world.
Have you ever noticed the behavior of the people while Jesus was dying on the cross directly in front of their eyes? As Jesus says, “My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?” and "It is finished." THEY PAID LITTLE ATTENTION! They’re mocking, gambling, & acting as if nothing important is taking place. When in reality, the most significant thing of their time and in all history is taking place.
